James Grant Harnett

James Harnett (85) passed away peacefully on Thursday June 27, 2024 at the London Health Sciences Centre – Victoria Campus.

Loving husband of 54 years to Sandy French. Dear father of Paul Harnett and Brenda Young (French). Wonderful grandfather to Calee Young, Cash Young and Brent Stark and Great Grandfather of Presley James Young. Cherished brother of Jean Bayduk, Tina Rupert and John Harnett (Frieda). Father in law to Mark Stark.

Predeceased by his daughter Jenny French-Stark (2005), his sister Mary Sills (Sam) and brother Dave Harnett (Jean)as well as brothers in law Bill Rupert and Ed Bayduk.

Deeply missed by those who knew him as “Uncle Jim” as well as all his many nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and family in Scotland.

At Jim’s request, cremation has taken place.

A Gathering to celebrate Jim’s life and memory will take place at a later date.
