Myrtle Jean Marie Welch (Marie)

Passed away peacefully surrounded by family at St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital on Wednesday May 1, 2024, at the age of 60.

Born in London, daughter of the late Frank Wilson and the late Connie Johnson.

Beloved wife of 41 years to Douglas Welch. Loving Mother of Christopher (Caitlin), Justin and Nicholas and her beloved Dog Freddy. Cherished Grandmother of Aislynn and Emmytt. Lovingly remembered by her brothers and sister and all of her dear friends.

Marie was a dedicated Optimist member and enjoyed every aspect that went along with it. She cared for everyone in the community and enjoyed hearing the neighbourhood kids playing.

Cremation has taken place, with a celebration of life to be announced at a later date.
