We are sad to announce the unexpected tragic passing of Joseph Louis Rau, on July 4, 2023, in his 82nd year.

Friend of Barbra Wright. Proud and loving father of Nicole Michelle Smith and her husband Christopher, predeceased by son Bradley Michael Rau. Also survived by stepson Jeff Wright and his wife Jennifer. Cherished grandfather of Bryce, Reece, and Easton Smith, Spencer and Emerson Wright. Dear brother of Rose McMaster and Margaret de Boer. Beloved uncle to Tim, Todd and Carey Rau, Cheryl, Steven and Darren Cook, and Kevin Walters.

Cremation has taken place. Private family service will be held at a later date.
